In this assignment I have drawn my own plan for a non-specialist laboratory, I explain each feature of the non-specialist laboratory. I also discuss the differences of specialist and non-specialist laboratories. Lastly I explain the importance of a good laboratory design. I got a distinction for this assignment.

In this assignment I explain what a LIMS and give examples of a LIMS. I explain what a lab logger is and where they can be used. I have the big table in my presentation of 'types of data, explanation of what it is, reasons to keep it, how it is stored, who should record it, have access to it and be able to make changes to it'.
