UNIT 2 assignment 3 LIMS presentation PASS MERIT DISTINCTION
In this assignment I explain what a LIMS and give examples of a LIMS. I explain what a lab logger is and where they can be used. I have the big table in my presentation of 'types of data, explanation of what it is, reasons to keep it, how it is stored, who should record it, have access to it and be able to make changes to it'. The types of data I explain are COSHH records, Quality assurance, Training records, waste disposal, health and safety checks, scientific apparatus, scientific data, security, specification levels, and sample throughput. Next in the presentation I give 5 examples of advantages of a LIMS and 5 examples of disadvantages of a LIMS. Last slide is my references. I got a DISTINCTION in this assignment
