1944 Percentages Agreement

 Referred to as the ‘Naughty Document’ (it decided the future of other
countries without their say)
 Churchill signed this agreement to try and fight Stalin’s power whilst
keeping him on side (war wasn’t over yet)

 The Yalta conference gave Russia control
 Leaders of other parties started to go missing
 Gradually increased influence over other parties then
invaded
 Built up coalition governments (merged parties)
This was used as a smoke shield!
 Used the ‘Red Army’ to spread terror
 Secret police were dressed in plain clothing etc

 Used the Red Army to keep control
 Rigged the 1946 election
