A GAME ABOUT HEROES AND VILLAINS
, YOUR TURN: WHAT IS A HERO?
This presentation introduces a classroom game that aims to teach intermediate speakers of English how to form and answer questions. The game is a version of "Twenty Questions", in which teams (or individuals) must correctly form and ask closed questions of another team or individual. This version of the game is based around heroes and villains, but could be *easily adapted* for other topics. Introductory activities, rules, and useful vocabulary are all provided. This presentation is suitable for teaching English as a second or foreign language (but could be adapted for other language pairs). It is ideal for language assistants, TEFL/ESL teachers, and teaching assistants.
I graduated with a first-class degree from Durham University studying History and French. I used the notes now uploaded to Stuvia throughout my four years at University, to consolidate lectures and revise for exams. I hope they prove useful to any potential buyer !
