Assignment 1 preparing the presentation
Task 1 a: The client I have hasn’t got any knowledge about IT so in my 1 st task is to
teach them some stuff about hardware and software which are needed to create and
modify graphics. I will be carrying out this task by making a report which will list and
briefly describe every element of hardware and software recommended by me.
Section 1 – I will cover the hardware which is required to work with
graphics in particular not just any hardware. I will include a few items which I
will explain why they are important when it comes to working with graphics.
Graphics cards
The graphics card is responsible for translating and then presenting orders
that it gets from the CPU in a graphical format. It helps the pc by
displaying the orders it gets from the processor accurately the quality of
graphics produced rely on the graphics cards speed and storage. Meaning
that a graphics card with high speed and larger storage will output
graphics of better quality and more quickly in comparison to slow graphics
card. The
Memory (ram) – random access memory of simply ram is a type of
memory that can be accessed randomly the main function of ram is that it
makes it easy to find specific information very fast. A large ram is helpful to
a computer because a large ram will allow computer to use larger,
powerful programs and also another benefit of large ram is that it can
make the computer run faster which is needed for graphics software and
can be of crucial when editing images using graphics software because it
will allow the user to see the changes applied instantly
, CPU (processor)
The processors (CPU) is a chip which is placed on the motherboard
Is more like the brain of the computer and when it comes to graphics the
type of processor you have can really affect your work and the pace your
able to do your graphics work at because Photoshop and other graphics
software’s has to process a lot difficult orders so if the user has single core
process this will lead to the program crashing most of the time since a
single core processor is not strong enough to process a lot of orders in
comparison to a dual core or quad core processors which are much more
powerful and fast since they can execute large complicated instructions
this will prevent the Photoshop from crashing and also allow the
Photoshop to run smoothly since quad core has more cores than single
core having my cores mean being able to execute more order per a
second which results in enhanced performance.

A graphics tablet is an input device that is built for digital graphics users and
people who use Photoshop its compatible with certain software programs it
enables users to hand draw the reason that this input device is so important
compared to other input devices such as mouse in digital graphics is because
this device has many different functions compared to mouse which makes it
easier and quicker to edit work they also have 2400 different levels of
pressure sensitivity compared to a mouse which has two sensitivity pressure
level working with graphics board also feels more natural due to the special
pen which is more comfortable to hold in hand compared to mouse also when
using Photoshop with graphics tablet having 2400 different levels pressure
gives user advantage because the pressure sensitivity applies to the brushes
as well.
