In my p4 I will be choosing special interest tourism for specific customer’s types. I will also meet their
requirements and needs and will explain their options.
Two students from London want to go on a holiday before starting university. Justin and Carl have
saved up money to take a gap year before university. They plan to travel in June or July depending
on the rates of the flight. They would like to travel to Greece and take part in different activities.
They wish to spend maximum 7-14 nights on any beautiful island in Greece. They also want a day to
spend at the beach and relax. Justin and Carl also want their hotel close to the beach. They don’t
mind self-catering or all inclusive. They also do not have any budget since they have saved up quite a
lot of money to spend on their holiday.
Holiday 1
They will be travelling from London Gatwick airport to Corfu airport on the Monday which is the
17/06/19 at 09:10 and will get there on the same day at 14:15 their return will on the Monday which
is the 01/08/19 at 15:40 and will get here at on the same day at 16:40.
When they get there they will have a car hire already booked for them. The car will directly take
them to the hotel. The accommodation that I booked them is studio type and self-catering since they
would be out most of the time. The room ha air conditions, hair dryers, kitchen, oven, and fridge.
They are also provided with free Wi-Fi and private balcony with beautiful sea view.
The apartment is amount 1-2 minutes’ walk to the beautiful beach and the village. Below the Kalami
Bay apartment there is a huge swimming pool with furnished expansive pool terrace. Plenty variety
of dining selections can be found over the cliff at Agni or Kouloura in less 18-20 minutes’ walk. The
Kalami clients usually get a free taxi-boat service in the evenings to Agni tavern.
Kalami is located at the heart of Corfu's outstanding north-east coastline. Justin and Carl can hire of
a small motor boat is the best way to explore the beautiful island. They will also be provided with a
resort representative by Suvil travels who is going to help them and tell them around the beautiful
island. Booking a motor boats will be much better since they will be able to explore the hidden
beaches and get to know about it. Speedboats are also provided but need licence. The town of Corfu
is about an hour where they go for shopping. This all will be added up to £1098.00.
They also offer a lot of water sport activities such as canoeing, skiing, Ringo, pedalos and also banana
rides. They rates have not been provided since they change every time depending on the season, but
they are advised to being at least £200. There are professional guides that would help and teach
them about these water ports they are also advised to bring a towel and a bathing suit. Their total
cost of the holiday would add up to £2596 at an estimate.
Holiday 2
They will be flying from London Luton airport on the Monday which is the 10 th June at 18:20-21:50
which take 2 hours 30 minutes by easy jet and their return would be on the Tuesday which is the 25 th
June at 22:25-00:04 which take 2 hours 40minutes. This is going to cost £968.77 (includes 2 of them).
The apartments picks up their guests from the airport and drops them of at the apartments. The
accommodation booked is villa Lavanda, Podstrana, Croatia. They offer Laundry facilities, tour
assistance and also garden to relax are available at this apartment building. Complimentary Wi-Fi in
public areas and apartment. Extra facilities include barbecues and a front desk safe. Every apartment
