P4 - Produce evidence of own progress against the acton ppan over the duraton of
the programme
In this assignment, I will be producing evidence of my own progress against the acton plan over the
duraton of the programme I will look at the targets that I set and see if I have met them If they have not
been achieved I will state why that is and what I could do to improve them
The frst target that I set myself was to work hard on my coursework and get a distncton on at
least 6 units The expected completon date for this target was July 2018 It is not July yet so I have
not reached this target but I should defnitely meet it by the completon date So far, I have
achieved 4 distnctons Also, I believe that I have been working hard on my coursework and I am on
the right track to get more distnctons
The second target that I set myself was to fnd a part-tme ob The expected completon date for
this target was March 2018 I have not reached this target This is because I have been focusing
mostly on my coursework and work experience I have college on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, and
I have work experience on Wednesday and Thursday This means that the only tme that I could
work would be the weekends However, I think this would be too much for me and I need some
tme off I will look for a ob when I fnish college because then I would have a lot of free tme so it
would be easier for me to work
The third target that I set myself was to get a driver's license The expected completon date for this
target was 2019 I have not reached this target because it is not 2019 yet I have not yet started
working on this goal because it is not important at this moment However, I will start working on it
next year when I get a ob and will be able to buy a car I will reach this goal by startng my theory
test, booking my driving lessons and doing my practcal test in late 2018 or early 2019
The fourth target that I set myself was to fnd work experience at a nursery The expected
completon date for this target was 2900102018 I have reached this target in February I found
work experience at a primary school in an SED class I was struggling to fnd a placement and a
friend who was also studying health and social care and did their work experience at that primary
school helped me get it by recommending it to me
The ffh target that I set myself was to research possible universites, where I could study
psychology and look into how many UCAS points I will need to become a psycho-therapist The
expected completon date for this target was June 2018 I have partly reached this target I
researched different universites and thought about which one I could possibly go to However, I
have not looked into how many UCAS points I will need to get into university I will make sure that I
do this by June 2018 so I know what grades I will need to aim for next year
The last target that I set myself was to prepare a UCAS applicaton for psychology The expected
completon date for this target was September 2018 I haven't reached this target yet because it is
not September 2018 In order to reach this target, I will look at other people's examples of their
UCAS applicatons so I can get ideas on how to write mine I could also ask my teachers or tutor for
help
