In this assignment, I will be assessing my communicaton and interpersonal skills for both the one-to-one and group
interactonss My peers have observed and assessed both role plays, so I will also be discussing their commentss
One-to-one interacton
Eye contact; I could have made more eye contact in this interactons owever, I was purposely looking at the
persons lips when they were talking as my character was deaf, and a deaf person would be likely to lip reads
Body language; My peers commented that I had an appropriate distance to my role play partners
Facial expressions; My peers commented that my facial expressions were calm and atentves
Listening skills; My peers commented that I listened carefully and nodded to show that I am listenings
Gestures; I pointed to the picture of the food that I wanted for breakfasts
Posture; My posture was slouched as my character was asleeps owever, once my character woke up I was
sitting up straight to show that I was involved in the interactons
Tone of voice; My peers commented that my tone of voice had a good paces
Verbal communicaton; My peers commented that I spoke clearlys
Overall, I think that my communicaton and interpersonal skills for my one-to-one interacton were goods I used eye
contact, had positve body language, used facial expressions to show how I feel, had good listening skills, used
gestures such as pointng, used a good pace when talking, and spoke clearlys owever, I believe that I could have
said more during my role plays I think all of my other communicaton and interpersonal skills were good apart from
verbal communicatons I think this is due to the fact that me and my partner didn't really practce what we were
going to say we focused more on what we were going to do during the role plays When it came to the talking, we
mostly improvised and I fnd it hard to come up with something to say on the spots As a result, I didn't say much
during my one-to-one interactons

Eye contact; I made eye contact with my classmates to show that I'm paying atenton to what they're saying
and to show respects
Body language; My peers commented that I had a positve body languages
Facial expressions; I used facial expressions to show how I was feelings For example, I lowered my eyebrows
when I was disagreeing with my classmates and raised them when I was agreeings
Listening skills; I listened carefully to what my classmates were saying in order hear what is said to me, so
that I could respond with an appropriate answers
Gestures; I shook my classmate's hands when saying hello and goodbyes
Posture; I was leaning forward to show that I am interested and involved in the conversatons
Tone of voice; My peers commented that I had a calm and clear tone of voices
Verbal communicaton; Clearly communicated my views on aborton, so that my partners could understand
what I was sayings
Overall, I am very happy with my group interacton, and I think my communicaton and interpersonal skills were
effectves I made eye contact with my partners, had positve body language, used my eyebrows to show my
emotons, listened carefully, used gestures such as hand shaking, leaned forward to show engagement, had a calm
and clear tone of voice, and clearly communicated my ideass owever, I believe that my body language could have
been more opens I feel like I was quite closed off, which could have made me look uninterested and uninvolved in
the conversatons I could have been more open by using my hands more when talking, instead of having them on my
lap, also using my hands would have been effectve in expressing my thoughts
