WHAT IS COMMUNICATION?
COMMUNICATION
It is when you pass messages between people or organisations. Without a
good communication in and out the business, the business will probably
not succeed.
Communication has to be clear, because not all the people working in the
business might understand what you mean, and if you are speaking to
someone outside the business, it will be inappropriate to write in slangs or
speak in a friendly tone. It is important to use the right language for the
audience to get an excellent result, and avoid a misunderstood.

There are 2 different ways of communication:
Internal communication  it happens between people in the business.
External communication  it happens between people outside the
business.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATION
It is highly important because it links together all the different activities
involved in a business. It also aims to ensure that all employees are working
towards the same goal and know exactly what they should be doing and by
when.
Examples:
 Formal meetings and briefings
 E-mail
 Intranets
 Wikis, blogs, podcasts, internal social media tools
 Informal meetings where employees can meet with senior
management
 Conference calls and webinars
