In this piece I will be explaining and outlining all factors need to be considered while operating this
event. This analysis of the purpose of a plan is essential to the success of an event.

Explain the Chosen Event Idea, Including Reasons for Choice
As a group, we will be holding a business event that would serve the purpose of building and
developing teamwork between one another and the group as a whole. The event will consist of a
one-day tour to Betteshanger, a country based park situated in Kent that offers multiple facilities to
assist a wide range of activities all year round with always something new to do, in which we will
need to formulate groups and lead people in teambuilding activities, to ensure that by the end
everyone would have worked together and targeted key skills that are utilized day-in-day-out when
working with one another in a corporate environment. This day would require a lot of planning and
communication to ensure that everything will operate smoothly and will provide a multitude of
benefits. These sorts of events would tend to be in a corporate environment to ensure their business
teams are functioning effectively t optimise the company performance, in this case we will be using
my classmates and fellow team members to simulate how something of this kind may work out.

Through the use of motivational techniques and positive attitudes, we will be seeking to formulate a
constructive and beneficial environment to ensure that people feel comfortable and enjoy their time
working within the activities. Understanding that the purpose of the event is to develop the
effectiveness and strength in teamwork between the attending groups, it would b in the best
interest these aims and objectives put in place to help meet these goals are SMART. This is essential
to help set up success of meeting goals as this method will help organise different procedures to
propel a company further, as it provides not only a sense of direction but also increasing workplace
motivation to develop the company. This being said, in a real corporate event, an example of a
SMART objective would be…

- SPECIFIC – boost workplace enjoyment and job satisfaction by 15% or boost sales by 10% by
the end of a 3-month period. Must set goals with numbers with real deadlines.
- MEASUREABLE - It should be measured through internal research like questionnaires to
monitor the success of the events and I it has boosted morale, for example.
- ATTAINABLE – The goal that is set out must be challenging but still possible to boost
motivation of employees to get the job one t the best of their abilities, maybe an incentive
like financial motivators may also increase this motivation.
- REALISTIC – Identify a plan, and consider what degree of hurdles you are facing and how
many and whether these goals are realistic and achievable for the company.
- TIMEBOUND – The goals should have a deadline to increase motivation and also boost work
efforts for example, 6 moths or 1 year. These should be realistic based on the issues that
may arise and will occur.

Explain Factors that need to be Considered when Producing a Detailed Plan
for the Proposed Event
When developing a plan for an event it is important to understand and brainstorm aa series of
potential and definite problems that will occur, then providing a method of getting around these
issues.

To begin with, there will be some budgeting constraints. Budgeting is essential because you will want
the event to run smoothly, if you need t provide certain things like food for people then this will
have to be factored into a budget. It ill keeps everyone attending happy and ensure that the
