Courtney Lowes
Unit 45
P4D2

It is very important that the public transport that is used within the UK is very
efficient as it is considered very popular and doesn’t do as much harm to the
environment such as other transport. It is necessary that the companies
providing public transport are looking for ways to make their transport less
damaging for the environment to help reduce the effects of global warming. If
the dangerous emissions that were given out were reduced then it would
potentially mean that there would not be as many people that suffer from it
and there would be less people getting problems such as asthma and cancer.

We could also look into using electric cars more and change from using electric
and other harmful fuels. LPG is a natural product and does not contribute to
the harm which is being made on the environment, as well as being less
maintenance and not as expensive. However although the fuel is better it has
not been made for larger machinery yet and cannot reduce the effects that
much. It has other drawbacks such as high costs to convert to LPG for the
drivers and they may not see it as that much of a worthy investment, therefore
it would not has as much of big impact if people could not afford it and as it
does not benefit them individually they would not be as interested.

The graph shows the difference in the amount of energy used by different
vehicles, by analysing the graph I can see that a petrol car uses the more
