P1 - Describe the technologies required for e-commerce
E-commerce the term itself stands for the trading method that is used to offer customers to sell, buy
different products or services over the internet. E-commerce is an online shop where people can
easily purchase what they would or would not be able to buy at their local supermarkets. It offers a
wide variety of range of products and services. E-commerce also offers a lot easier, comfortable way
to find products that the customer is looking for.
As you can see on the image above, there is a wide variety of Technology categories and products
available for the customers. (Argos.co.uk) Note that Argos offers nearly everything, that can and
should be found in a home including furniture, games, design elements, accessories etc.
