Outline:
Cognitive psychologists have often compared the human brain to a
computer.
Compare it to how we input information store it then output it.
During the process stage we actively use the cognitive process of
perception, attention and memory so it is compared to the hardware
of a computer.
Example:
- The multistore model of memory by Atkinson and Shiffrin in
1968.
- Information is input to the brain through the eyes/ senses
