P4 Describe the software tools available for animation
Frames:
Drawings are referred to as frames because they represent the position in time of a piece of
animation. The sequence specifies which movements the viewer will be able to see, and the
position of the frames indicates the animation's timing. I used frames in my bee animation
because they are necessary for the animation to work. This frame depicts the movement of
my bees.

Layers:
Layers refer to the various layers in animation and graphics software where you place your
sketches, animations, and artefacts. The layers are stacked one on top of the other. Each
layer has its own graphics or effects that can be worked on and modified independently of
the other layers. In my animation, I used layers to add and animate objects separately.
Without the use of layers, it would be very hard to navigate my animation properly.

Controls:
Controls in animate allow the user to create and modify animations and frames in any way
they see fit. It will also allow users to test their animation to see what it will look like when
the animation is being played. Furthermore, the controls allow users to skip either forward
or backwards in the animation. This will allow the users to edit the animation for easily. I
have used controls in all my animations as I regularly tested them to see if they played as I
wanted them to, also the controls allowed me to edit the frames that needed to be edited.
