The North Pole is at the northernmost point of the Earth, while the South Pole is at the
southernmost point on the Earth. Canada is near to the North Pole and Argentina is near the South
Pole.



A Country is an area of land designated with a border. Examples of countries are Italy, Mexico and
Singapore.



Region of a country is an area of land that is part of a country.
For example Sicily is a region of Italy.
