The Fachetti Group (TFG) is a restaurant and food manufacturing business.
This business is run by Fabio Fachetti who is a well known established
individual as he is a celebrity chef and TV presenter. He is also famous for his
ability to inspire and engage his staff. TFG is also known for its B2B (business
to business) interactions as they sell large amounts of their products to the
UK’s major supermarkets. TFG was split into 2 separate divisions which were
the restaurant division and the manufacturing division. There are 2 managers
who used to run each division. There is Katrina Szynalski who has been in
TFG for 20 years as head chef and manager of the restaurant division. She
takes a democratic leadership and management style. She worked in an area
which had high rent and rates and also paid above average wages for the
instrusty standard which ultimately caused her a lot of cash flow problems.
Katrina is currently the deputy divisional manager for manufacturing. Then
there is Sunny Elder who runs the manufacturing divisional manager. Sunny
takes an autocratic leadership style which has resulted in him running a very
, highly efficient workforce. In TFG there is a large amount of conflict between
the 2 managers as their leadership styles clash which is an issue which needs
to be addressed.
