How This Curriculum Works
This curriculum is self-paced. All 16 modules are available from Day 1. You move through them
at your own speed based on your income level, savings rate, and how quickly you build credit.
Some students will complete Phase 0 in 6 months; others will take 14 months. Both are valid ---
the system works at any pace.
Each module contains three components:
Hands-On Exercises (orange boxes) --- practical tasks using the Master Tracker spreadsheet.
You will fill in tabs, run calculations, and practice the exact steps you will use when running the
real business.
Knowledge Checks (green boxes) --- questions that test whether you understand the concepts.
Answer these honestly before moving on. If you cannot answer a question, re-read the relevant
section of the Study Guide.
Readiness Gates (purple boxes) --- checkpoints at the end of each phase. You must meet
every criterion in the gate before advancing. These are not arbitrary --- launching Phase 1
without Phase 0 complete will cost you money and time.

Module 1: Your Financial Baseline
In this module, you establish your starting point. Every number you record here is your Day 1
baseline --- you will measure all progress against it.
📋 HANDS-ON EXERCISE: Set Up Your Savings Tracker
1\. Open the Master Tracker spreadsheet. Navigate to the Savings
Tracker tab.
2\. In the Month 1 row, enter your current monthly take-home pay in
the "Job Take-Home" column.
3\. Calculate 30% of your take-home. Enter this in the "Savings
(30%+)" column. This is your monthly savings target.
4\. Leave all bonus columns blank for now --- you will fill these as
bonuses are earned.
5\. Check the Cumulative Fund column. How many months until it
reaches $10,000 at your current savings rate? Write this number
down.
📋 HANDS-ON EXERCISE: Pull Your Credit Baseline
1\. Go to AnnualCreditReport.com. Pull all three bureau reports
(free).
2\. Open the Score Tracker tab in the spreadsheet. Enter Week 1,
today's date, and your Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian scores.
3\. The Average column auto-calculates. Write this number at the top
of your Study Guide for reference.
4\. In the Notes column, write: the number of open accounts, any
negative items found, and your current total available credit (if
any).
5\. Sign up for Credit Karma if you haven't already. Confirm it
matches your report data.
