Justify your response. Two major challenges that are encounters by the present-day medical group practice administrators are the need for facilities to offer specialized services. With talking to one of the administrators of a facility in my area, she explained to me that hospitals nowadays are starting to offer specialized services in a select few major areas of healthcare. They are starting to do this because it will attract the customers that are willing and able to pay for these services. The medical group should do an open survey to where it will tell them what services that they should offer in their facility to attract the most customers. Another major challenge is the lack of qualified and top-quality staff. There is and has been for a while a huge demand in quality hospital personnel. There is always a competition on whose facility has the better personnel that offers the best services to their patients. I believe that the medical group practice administrators must come up with a plan in the recruitment area to where they attract as well as hire the best. Having a plan will ensure they take the right steps in recruitment.
