Dear Class:
There are 40 (some multiple questions) regular test questions taken from ESS 101 PowerPoint lecture
material and special readings related to human interactions with geologic processes and materials.
Each regular test question is worth 2 points. The exam is worth 80 points towards your total score out of
400, but will show being out 88 because of the 8 bonus points).
There are also 4 bonus questions worth 2 points each that will be counted towards your total points, but
are extra credit.
