There are different types of business communication that is used to effectively deliver in-
formation. The information is gathered from different sources and by different modes of
conduct. Using communication skills is crucial in delivering important information. There
are many different types of communication such as;


Verbal
Verbal communication describes the face-to-face interaction. Being able to be there in per-
son allows for a better understanding of the topic being discussed, as body language and
facial expressions are more easily understood. By talking in person, the delivery of infor-
mation can be more targeted and suited for the audience or person you're talking to.
Through verbal communication, it is easier to get all points across easily and allow oppor-
tunities of questions decreasing misunderstanding. Most people prefer verbal communica-
tion as it can allow complex ideas to be understood and help clear any confusion. While
Verbal communication is normally very effective, factors like accents or language barriers
can weaken the effectiveness of communication. The heavier the accent is or language
barriers can take longer for the people to understand the topic and there could be a larger
possibility of misunderstanding. While verbal communication is effective, sometimes direct
contact with someone can be harder such that a phone call can aid the parties to talk to
each other as meeting the person can be more costly and time-consuming.
At DIA verbal communication is used widely as its the primary source of communication
between students and teachers. Whether in subject class, field trip or registration. This in-
ternal communication helps teachers effectively communicate important dates, topics or in-
formation and allows the students to ask questions. Another set of verbal communication
is external such when the KHDA visits the school for a check or meeting the purpose of
the meeting is to identify where improvements or ideas can be implemented. The external
verbal communication purpose is to have an effective and efficient meeting where ideas
can be introduced and misunderstandings can be cleared.

Written communication is the use of words, symbols, graphs, numbers and diagrams. Dif-
ferent forms of methods used to communicate in a written manner is; SMS, email, forms
and letters as examples. They are used to communicate and express ideas and thoughts
with the help of visual representation. This can be more effective when larger groups of
