Behaviors Issues/Problem
Attitude Ted’s attitude at home is causing issues
between him and his mom as they are
fighting. This is a problem as Ted may feel
alone at home with no one to talk to while
his mom may is feeling frustrated.
Aggressive Ted exhibiting aggression at home and at
school is a problem as it shows he is
struggling to cope with his emotions, which
could lead him towards making poor choices.
If aggression continues and gets worse, he
could harm someone and face negative
consequences.
Substance Abuse Ted abusing substances is a problem as he
continues to show signs that he is unable to
cope with his emotions. If he continues to
use substances to cope with his emotions, it
increases his risk for addiction and other
negative consequences.
Skipping Classes Ted skipping classes presents an issue, as he
not only increases his isolation from his
peers. Skipping classes will also negatively
affect his learning and increases his risk for
dropping out.
Sullen/Unsocial Ted is showing signs of isolation, which
presents the issue that he is lacking
engagement in school. This is a problem as it
creates a negative attitude towards school
that becomes a cycle. He also faces an impact
on his social development and mental health.
Hygiene A change in hygiene is concerning as it is a
sign that whatever is going on with Ted is
impacting his mental health as he went from
taking care of himself/appearance to not
keeping up with his hygiene.
