Headlamps ......ANSWER........The high beams should allow the
driver to see at least 450 feet ahead, and the low beams 150
feet ahead.Headlamps must be on from sunset to sunrise, and
when visibility is poor.You must dim your headlamps if you are
less than 500 feet from an oncoming car, or within 300 feet of
the car in front of you in the same flow of traffic.
Brake Lamps (stop lamps) ......ANSWER........red or amber, should
be visible for 300 feet in normal sunlight, and they must be
designed to turn on, or to turn on more brightly, when you apply
