Overview: Mary Richards, an 82-year-old female, is a frequent hospital visitor due to hypertension and heart
failure. She was admitted to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) overnight following a heart failure
exacerbation. Her medical history includes myocardial infarction, hypertension, and congestive heart failure.
Currently, she is receiving oxygen at 4 liters per minute via nasal cannula but continues to experience
shortness of breath, persistent coughing, and exertional dyspnea.
