De casusopdracht bijbehorend van beroepssituatie tien, is twee december van start gegaan. De casus betreft Mariëlla en Pieter. Mariëlla en Pieter hebben een zoontje van drie dagen oud, genaamd Dylan. Nu staan zij als kersverse ouders voor de keuze of zij Dylan fles- of borstvoeding gaan geven. Allereerst zal ik aan de hand van een betoog mijn voorkeur voor borstvoeding motiveren. Hierin wordt gebruik gemaakt van ervaringsdeskundigen, professionals en wetenschappelijk bewijs. Daaropvolgend zal ik beredeneren hoe ik op basis van shared decision making samen met Mariëlla en Pieter op één gezamenlijk besluit zijn gekomen. In dit verslag wordt dus onderbouwd waarom borstvoeding de beste keuze is. Dit word gedaan met behulp van wetenschappelijk bewezen argumenten, een tegenargument word hierna weerlegd. Als laatst zal het onderwerp Shared decision in deze casus uitgelegd worden.
