Hand-written notes on human physiology, spanning the kidneys, digestive system and bones. Second year course of the Biomedical Science (Hons) undergraduate degree.
This is a collection of all of my notes from my Human Physiology course (BY206) of my second year of my undergraduate Biomedical Science (Hons) degree at the University of Brighton. The notes are a collection of ones that I took during the lecture itself, plus the more in-depth and detailed notes that I later took at home in preparation for exams. The latter of these notes include extra research (from online sources and textbooks) and clarifications of what was taught in class. The module was taught by Dr Peter Bush. Overall, the topics covered are: - Kidney physiology and the filtration system - The digestive system - Homeostasis - Bone physiology, formation, and effects of exercise and aging All topics include diagrams and common pathologies of the area affected. I graduated with a 2:1.
