This take-home examination consists of 14 pages.
There are two compulsory sections:
Section A consists of short and long application questions.
Section B consists of short and long theoretical questions.
Instructions
1. The answers to this examination paper must be submitted via the myExams platform.
2. The official examination session ends at 12:00 today (13 June 2025).
3. The use of The Invigilator app is compulsory. Failing to use the app successfully is seen as
a transgression of Unisa’s examination rules and will result in your marks being withheld.
4. You must complete the online declaration form of own work before you submit your paper.
Additional instructions
1. Upload your answer script in a single PDF file (answer scripts must not be password-protected or
uploaded as read-only files).
2. You have 30 minutes time allowance after the official examination end time (until 12:30) to
submit your answer script. Submissions made after that will be rejected according to the
examination regulations and will not be marked.
3. No e-mailed scripts will be accepted.
4. You are advised to preview your submission (answer script) to ensure that it is legible and that the
correct answer script file has been uploaded.
5. Incorrect file formats and uncollated answer scripts will not be considered.
6. Marks awarded for an incomplete submission after 12:30 will be your final mark. No opportunity
will be granted for resubmission.
7. Marks awarded for an illegible scanned submission will be your final mark. No opportunity will be
granted for resubmission.
8. Only submissions from registered student accounts will be accepted.
9. Students who have not used invigilation or proctoring tools will be deemed to have transgressed
Unisa’s examination rules, and their marks will be withheld.
10. You have 48 hours from the day of the examination to upload your invigilation results from The
Invigilator app. Students who fail to do so will be deemed not to have utilised an invigilation tool.

11. Students suspected of dishonest conduct during the examinations will be subjected to
disciplinary processes. Unisa has zero tolerance for plagiarism and/or any other forms of
academic dishonesty.
12. Students who experience technical challenges may contact the Student Communication Service
Centre (SCSC) on 080 000 1870 or send an e-mail to and CC the
lecturer on . ONLY communication from your myLife account will be
considered.
13. Undergraduate students may not apply for an aegrotat. Undergraduate students are entitled to use
two consecutive opportunities per module to take the examinations. The second examination
opportunity caters to missed or failed examinations in the first examination opportunity. If you miss
the second opportunity, you have to re-register for the module.

report (IAR) of 2024. You need to download the report to answer the questions.

Once you have saved the IAR, open the report and answer the questions.

report; only refer to the sections as specified. The question will be based on the section
and page indicated and ONLY answers from that passage (section) will be considered
correct.
