purchase an excursion. The weather is lovely, but I am here for 2 weeks so I am worried I
might get a bit bored sat by the pool.
Your Name: Of course, Libby, which excursion was it that captured your interest? If you
would like to have another look at the excursions, I have a brochure here for you to look
at. However, if you do get bored you could always ask me for recommendations about
the local area.
Libby: Thank you that would be helpful. I have a down syndrome son, so would you
recommend any excursions?
Your Name: How old is your son?
Libby: He is currently 16. He is currently playing in the pool as he gets bored quickly.
Your Name: Sounds like a typical teenager. I would personally recommend the Alicante
Aqua Park Flamingo if he enjoys swimming. It is one of Europe’s top 5 water parks with
rides suitable for everyone, and there is a disability access band to ensure that he does
not have to wait in long queues. I can sort this out for you.

Your Name: The Aqua Park is known for owning the longest lazy river- it is 1900 feet.
There is also a private beach for those that do not want an adrenaline filled day. Your son
may enjoy Shark Attack this ride consists of riders dropping at around 50mph down a
90ft slide into an aquarium filled with stingrays and sharks. There are over 50 waterslides
across the 710,400 square feet.
Libby: That sounds amazing. How much would it cost?
Your Name: It is £20 per adult and £10 per child. However, as his carer you would receive
concession. Therefore, it will be £20 or 23.40 Euros for the both of you. This will include a
coach transfer from Solenta Hotel it will leave at 09:00, it will then return you to your
hotel at 18:00. It also includes all-day entry to the park.
Libby: That is perfect. My son is a fussy eater. Are there any restaurants within the park
that you would recommend?
Your Name: There are 12 restaurants within the water park. The majority of them cater
for children and fussy eaters. What’s your son’s favourite meal?
Libby: Cheeseburger, chips and baked beans.
Your Name: I would recommend Flamingo Grill. It was rated Europe’s best grill for 3 years
running. They customise the burger based on the client’s request.
