• Incomplete, password-protected, or illegible scripts will not be marked.

Additional student instructions
1. NO emailed scripts will be accepted.
2. Students are advised to preview submissions (answer scripts) to ensure legibility
and that the correct answer script file has been uploaded.
3. Incorrect file format and uncollated answer scripts will not be considered.
4. Incorrect answer scripts and/or submissions made on unofficial examination
platforms will not be marked.
5. No opportunity will be granted for resubmission.
6. The mark awarded for an incomplete submission will be the student’s final mark.

7. The mark awarded for illegible scanned submissions will be the student’s final
mark. No opportunity for resubmission will be granted.
8. Submissions will only be accepted from registered students' myLife email
accounts.
9. Students suspected of dishonest conduct during the examinations will be
subjected to disciplinary processes. UNISA has zero tolerance for plagiarism
and/or any other forms of academic dishonesty.
10. Please check your load shedding schedules and prepare in advance to gain
access to and upload the exam answer files on time. Students experiencing
network or load shedding challenges are advised to apply for an aegrotat within
three days of the examination session. This application must be accompanied by
supporting evidence.
11. Queries that are beyond Unisa’s control include the following:
a. personal network or service provider issues,
b. load shedding/limited space on a personal computer,
c. computer crash,
d. using work on computers that block access to my Modules site (work firewall
challenges), and
e. unlicensed software (e.g., license expires during exams).
Undergraduate students experiencing any of the above challenges will receive an
automatic second opportunity to write their examination, granted that it is not
already a second opportunity. Undergraduate students experiencing any of the

above challenges during their second examination opportunity will have to re-
register for the affected module.
12. Students experiencing technical challenges should contact the SCSC on 080 000
1870 or via e-mail at or refer to the Get help during
the examinations. Only communication received from my Life account will be
