Türk kadın millî voleybolcular, 2023’te Avrupa şampiyonluğunu kazandılar. Maç biter
bitmez Türk seyirciler ve takımdakiler dans ederek başarıyı kutladılar. Halk maçı şehir
meydanlarındaki ekranlardan izledi. Sokaklarda şarkılar söyledi. Milyonlarca kişi
kutlamaları sosyal medyada paylaştı. İstanbullular, ertesi gün yurda dönen takımı,
havalimanında büyük bir heyecan ile karşıladılar. Takım oyuncularına ve yöneticilerine

The old man is talking about the forest where his village was.
Yaşlı adam ‘‘Orman bizim her şeyimizdir. Anamız, babamız, evimiz…’’ diyerek olanları
anlatmaya başladı:
Köyümüz ormanın ortasındaydı. Orman evimiz gibiydi. Biz onun dışında bir dünya
olduğunu bilmezdik. Çocukken ormanda oynardık. Hiç kaybolmazdık. İnsan evinde
kaybolur mu? Büyüdükçe ormanın ne kadar değerli olduğunu anladık. Orman ürünleri
ile yaşamımız devam ediyordu. Bundan da memnunduk. Bir gün devlet ormanın
yanındaki ağaçları kesmeye başladı. Önce kimse buna önem vermedi. Büyük alanlar
açılınca tehlikeyi anladık. Ormanı kaybetmemek için çalıştık. Ama büyük şirketler
bizi durdurmak istiyordu. Sadece beş altı yüz ağaçlık bir parça kalmıştı. Bu ağaçları
korumak için tüm köylüler ormana gittik. ‘‘Daha fazla ağaç kesemezsiniz’’ dedik. irketin
