Neuroanatomie

Chapter 24: visceral innervation

The difference between somatic and autonomic nervous system:
Somatic: has sensory and motor pathways, controls the muscles and movement.
Autonomic: has only motor pathways, controls the organs and glands.

De neurotransmitters in het auotnomisch zenuwstelsel:
1) Acetylcholine
2) Norepinephrine
3) Epinephrine
Onderverderlingen van het autonomisch zenuwstelsel:
- Parasympathisch
- Sympathetisch

Visceral afferents:
- Autonomic ganglia
- Neurotransmitters
- Parasympahtetic division
- Sympatethic divisison

(John Newport)Langley: subdivided the autonomic nervous system into the parasympathetic
and sympathetic nervous system.
 primair doel: optimale homeostase (inwendig milieu in evenwicht houden)

Sympathische invloed: bronchodilatatie
Parasympathetische invloed: bronchoconstrictie (verhoogt slijmsecretie)

Parasympathetic division: rest & digest
Sympathetic division: flight & fight

- Interneuronen

Preganglionic neurons: altijd cholinerge
Postganglionic neurons: enkel cholinerge in parasympathisch deel, in sympathisch deel zijn
ze noradrinerg.

Interneuronen:
3) Axo-axonic: beide axonen gaan binden
4) Dendro-dentritic (uitzondering): biede dentrieten gaan binden
