For my product, I have chosen to tackle multiple
problems rather than focus on one. This will allow me to

components. My product will target the Early Years
Foundation Stage (EYFS) which involves children aged
4-5 years. Firstly, my product will encompass the 7
areas of learning; communication and language,
personal, social and emotional development, physical
development, literacy and mathematics. At this stage,
children are mainly taught through play. Therefore,
creating an educational toy specific to the EYFS would
be popular, useful, and effective for reception teachers
to use as a resource in classrooms. Ensuring it is
