1. Draft the vesting clauses for the transferees listed below, as required by
the Deeds Registries Act 47 of 1937 and the regulations issued thereunder.


You may use your imagination for any missing details:


(a). A partnership where at least one of the partners is married in
community of property.

“John Petersen, Identity Number 650421 5089 080, unmarried, and Michael
Daniels, Identity Number 700315 5039 082, married in community of property to
Sarah Daniels, trading in partnership under the name and style of Petersen &
Daniels Construction Partnership, and their heirs, executors, administrators or
assigns.”


 Partnerships are cited in the personal capacities of all partners.


 Marital status for each partner must be stated.


 If one partner is married in community of property, it must be indicated (s
17(1) of the Deeds Registries Act).


 “And their heirs, executors, administrators or assigns” is the correct closing
for natural persons.
