reliable, and maintainable. Briefly explain each of these
three factors. (9)

An effective system meets its intended goals by helping
users complete their tasks efficiently and accurately. It
ensures that the user interface supports the user’s needs and
provides all necessary functions clearly and intuitively.
Reliable (3 marks):
A reliable system performs consistently under expected
conditions. It handles errors gracefully, does not crash
unexpectedly, and provides accurate results. Reliability
enhances user trust and system dependability.
Maintainable (3 marks):
A maintainable system is designed in such a way that it can
be easily updated or modified to fix issues or adapt to new
requirements. Good documentation, modular code, and
standardized practices contribute to maintainability.
