SECTION A: INTRODUCTION

Reading has always been a source of comfort and escape for me, but one book that truly
changed how I view life is Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. I chose this book after
hearing a friend describe how deeply moving and life-changing it was, and I was curious to
discover its message for myself. As I read, I was drawn into the honest conversations
between Mitch and his former professor, Morrie, especially their discussions about death,
love, forgiveness, and the meaning of life. What intrigued me most was how Morrie, even
while facing a terminal illness, remained kind, wise, and full of compassion—something that
made me think more deeply about how I live my own life. This book has taught me to value
time, appreciate people around me, and find peace in life’s simple moments, and that lesson
will stay with me forever.
