emphasizes transnational health issues, determinants, and solutions, involves many disciplines
within and beyond the health sciences and promoted interdisciplinary collaboration, and is a
synthesis of population based prevention with individual level clinical care

prevent injury, illness and premature death. It is a combination of programs, services and
policies that protect and promote the health of all
