, Inleiding

In de gezondheidszorg wordt er continue gestreefd naar hoge kwaliteit. Het doel van goede
kwaliteit in de zorg is om de zorg efficiënter te maken, om persoonlijke zorg te optimaliseren
en dit alles binnen betaalbare zorg. Wanneer je voor kwaliteit gaat, wil je de hoogst haalbare
standaard bereiken. De mate waarin we de zorg leveren wil je dusdanig hoog stellen, om dit
hoogst haalbare te realiseren. Kwaliteit is iets wat continue onder de loep moet worden
genomen

Alle zorginstellingen hebben te maken met kwaliteitseisen die wettelijk vast zijn gelegd. Om
goede kwaliteit van zorg te behalen werken we methodisch en volgens richtlijnen en
protocollen. Er ligt een taak bij de zorgorganisaties om de medewerkers te trainen, maar er
ligt ook zeker de taak bij de zorgmedewerkers zélf om up to date te blijven qua kennis en
ervaring, zodat je aan de beroepseisen blijft voldoen en niet alleen bevoegd, maar zeker ook
bekwaam blijft.

Inmiddels zit ik in mijn 4e jaar van de opleiding verpleegkunde en heb ik op diverse
afdelingen binnen de [BPV] mijn praktijkervaring op mogen doen. Van een beginnend
beroepsbeoefenaar in mijn 1e jaar die alles nog moest leren ben ik gegroeid naar een bijna
gediplomeerd verpleegkundige. Terugkijkend is kwaliteit van zorg is een rode draad geweest
in de afgelopen 4 jaar; bij alles wat ik heb gedaan stond persoonlijke (menselijkheid) en
efficiënte (binnen de beschikbare middelen) zorg voorop.
