Oral Exam iOR1/iON1
You need to pass all three parts of the course to be able to get a passing grade: Oral
Sessions + Portfolio + Oral Exam.
You will receive your designated time slot in a link in an announcement on Canvas.
During the Oral Exam, you will be quizzed on:
1. Self-study Course: 10 Chapters: Story/Dialogue + Vocabulary + Reading/Listening +
Translations + Deleted Essentials
2. Business Vocabulary, Sentences, and Blue Information Files: 6 Chapters (see Self-
study Course)
3. Your Portfolio
Important: You are expected to actively use all relevant vocabulary in compound-complex
sentences while answering oral exam questions.
1. Content Questions and Vocabulary on Self-study Course
You will receive content questions, exercises, and translations on the Self-study Course
much like during our Oral Sessions. Storytelling might also be a part of the quiz.
2. Business Vocabulary + Sentences + Blue Information Files
You will be asked to translate words, expressions or sentences from Dutch into English.
You will be asked to explain business concepts in English.
3. Content Questions on Portfolio
You will receive content questions on your Portfolio, much like the questions you
answered during our Oral Sessions together.
4. Deleted Essentials
Complete the Deleted Essentials exercise by providing the missing words.
