Attendance Scheme - ANSWER-Lists the values that can be used to mark attendance.
Attendance scheme values are the values that appear on the Learners' Self-Service
pages. Each attendance value is associated with a status which can affect a Learner's
enrollment status. The attendance scheme includes labels for Attended, Not Attended,
and Unknown only. A new label called "very late" can be added and give it the status of
Attended. Attended can be changes to present. Each status must be represented at
least once in the scheme.

Deny - ANSWER-The ability of the Approver to disapprove an action. The Deny action
cancels the transaction and the Initiator is notified of the decision. Comments are
required on a denied transaction.
Department - ANSWER-A six character alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies each
Department of Defense entity. The first character is the Service Identifier (W= Army).
The next three characters indicate Parent Unit Designator (i.e., Alphabetic indicates
MTOE units) and the last two are the descriptive designator (i.e., A0 = Alpha Company).
Department Security Tree - ANSWER-A security structure controlling system
permissions. A department is a node on the department security tree. If a user has
access to a specific node, they will also have access to the nodes below it in the tree
structure.
