The Director of Library Services

Dear Dr Diketso,
I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf of Imfundo Literacy Projects, I am pleased to reach out to
you as we launch an initiative to establish a community library in Randavell. Given the Randavell
City Council’s strong support for literacy programs, we believe this project aligns perfectly with
your vision of promoting education and lifelong learning.

The establishment of this library is essential for three key reasons:
1. Enhancing Literacy Rates – Many residents lack access to books, hindering their reading and
writing development.
2. Providing Educational Support – Students and adults alike need resources for academic and
personal growth.
3. Encouraging Community Engagement – A library will serve as a hub for learning, workshops,
and cultural activities.

To make this vision a reality, we kindly request the following donations:
 Bookshelves and storage units to organize reading materials efficiently.
 Computers with educational software to support digital literacy.
 Fiction and non-fiction books for all age groups.
 Study desks and chairs to create a conducive learning environment.

We deeply appreciate your consideration and would be grateful for any support. Together, we can
make a lasting impact on Randavell’s literacy landscape.

Yours sincerely,
[Your Name]
