shared blueprintfor peace and prosperity for people and the planet” (United
Nations, 2021). The agenda has three intertwined dimensions – economic
prosperity, social justice, and environmental

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), established by the United Nations in
2015, serve as a global framework to address pressing challenges such as poverty,
inequality, and climate change by 2030. Social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram,
TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube have emerged as powerful tools in promoting these
goals, enabling widespread awareness, engagement, and action.
SDG 5- Gender Equality
SDG 5 aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. This includes
eliminating discrimination, violence, and harmful practices, ensuring equal participation
in leadership, and providing access to reproductive health and rights.
