Students must obtain a foundational knowledge of mathematics early in their educational careers.
After analyzing the data and considering the information given, I believe that Math is the subject
that needs curriculum evaluation. Students are scoring considerably less than the state average in all
demographics. The school is 11.5% lower than the state average, white students tested 12.8% less
than the state average, students with I scored 5.7% less than the state average, and Black students
scored 2.7% less than the state average. All 4th-grade teachers are fully credentialed with varying
years of experience. Teachers rated their comfort level of the curriculum an 8/10, their comfort in
the design of the curriculum a 7/10, and their comfort of instructional tools a 6/10. Comparing ELA
performance, it is noted that 4th-grade students scored within 3% of the state average and there
