My favorite hobby for many years has been volunteering. I was a volunteer EMT with my local

my elderly neighbor growing up. That experience helped me discover my passion for helping
people. It's rewarding to be part of the team that helps those having a bad day.
A newer hobby I have picked up is hiking. I grew up in a small beach town so Utah is very
different for me. Hiking has been a great way for me to spend time with my family and make
memories with my daughter. It has also given me a greater appreciation for keeping the
environment clean. My family and I volunteer our time a couple days a week collecting trash
long along route 18 to help with the clean up effort in Utah.
