Section A: Organization Description
Medical South is an orthopedic practice in the United States, that strives to deliver world-
class orthopedic care while providing patients with unparalleled customer care. Medical Group,
P.C. originated in May 2008, when physicians of Division One joined the Division Two doctors
in a joint back-office business structure. The physicians of Division Three joined Medical Group,
P.C. in August 2009. It wasn’t until March 2019 that the three divisions officially rebranded,
together, as Medical South. Combining these three well-known orthopedic practices promoted
opportunities such as sharing costly technology, reduction of health-care costs, sharing of
physician knowledge, and centralized the functions of business leadership and management.
Medical South’s goal is to be the number one orthopedic practice nationwide as determined by
overall patient experience.
The physicians of Medical South have designated clinical staff to assist with daily
operations and ensure optimal patient care. The primary objective of the clinical staff team
members is to cater to the needs of the physician while assisting in providing an overall efficient
patient experience and fall under the leadership of the Clinic Manager.

At Medical South, the clinic manager is Lacy. Her primary responsibilities include
organizing and coordinating office administration, workflows, and procedures to ensure
organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. One leadership practice of the Clinic
Manager is exemplifying strong communication skills. This practice can be described as the
ability to effectively share information or instructions clearly and efficiently in a manner that the
