Use the checklist from unit 10 ('Evaluating course book material') to write a general evaluation of
the book - you won't be able to comment on all items as you only have one unit and the contents,
but say as much as you can.
This must be presented as a coherent essay, not just a list.
Then say whether you personally would like to use the book with an advanced class and why or
why not - this is just your opinion, so there is not a right or a wrong response to this part. You do
not need to refer to the class described for part 2 of this assignment.
300 - 500 words
This is another VERSION 2.0 of my assignment I did in my TEFL ACADEMY Assignment C.
I PASSED THE TEFL COURSE LAST MARCH 1, 2020 with a MERIT grade.

The material of Unit 1 in this coursebook is detailed with a warmer, a body, and
plenary that students can work independently on. The order and arrangement of this
unit are very analytical as well as appropriate for advanced level students as it gets
more challenging. The first part of unit 1 of this coursebook is more in-depth
grammar about continuous verb forms and then moving on to more difficult language
activities and ending in writing a report to check your language skills. There is a variety
of revision exercises to check students understanding of how globalization has
affected different parts of the world. There is an assortment of correction activities to
check the student's understanding of global living. The teacher’s guide is not
mentioned in this unit.
