•Vocab Word list with definition and Example • Smartboard or projector for visuals

Students will be able to identify the new vocabulary words and use them in sentences correctly.
Students will also be able to describe and compare characters, events, and themes from the story.

The Discourse and or Syntax will be writing in their journals while also having a group discussion to
define the words.
Planned Language Supports:
The planned language support would be going over the vocabulary words before starting the writing
assignment
