How many compensation tiers are there for
SCAADL?
Tier 1 - Low Dependence
This SCAADL Compensation tier is SM who scores
1-12 will be presumed to require 10 hours per
week of caregiver assistance.
Tier 2 - Medium Dependence
SM who scores 13-20 will be presumed to require
25 hours per week of caregiver assistance.
Tier 3 - High Dependence
SM who scores 21 or higher will be presumed to
need a full-time caregiver who provides 40 hours of
personal care per week.

Is comprised of the SRU Commander, SRU Surgeon,
SRMM, PT, PTA, OT/OTC, NCM, AR NCOIC, and SL.
Physical Signs of PTSD
These are the signs of Fatigue, Insomnia,
Nightmares, and Headaches.
Dissociative Subtype
Person may experience 'out of body' or
depersonalization during which they see
themselves observing their own body from above.
They may experience states of derealization during
which they feel that 'things are not real'.
Complex PTSD
Resulting from long-term trauma in situations in
which the victim is unable to get away from the
danger. Ex: concentration camps, prisoner of war
camps, organized child exploitation rings
SRU Entry Criteria
o Soldiers of any Component meeting Complex
Care Criteria. Soldier who has or is anticipated to
receive a profile of more than six months duration
or requires BH case management.
