All the arrested suspects were in possession of unlicensed firearms and several items, including cellphones, jewellery, tablets and other items. Inverters, grinders and other items were found in the vehicles. 2.1 Section 37 of the Criminal Procedure Act 51 of 1977 allows a police officer to ascertain the bodily features of a suspect under certain circumstances.
