- A proposal for concluding a contract (voorstel voor overeenkomst)
- Addressed to one or more specific persons (aanbod aan een specifiek iemand)
- Sufficiently definite (het aanbod is duidelijk omlijnd)
Stap 3: At what moment is the agreement concluded?
Art.23: When the acceptance becomes effected.
Vervolg vraag op welk moment is de acceptance effected?
Art.18: Reception Theory, “Agreement is complete when the acceptance reaches the
offerer”
Stap 4: Withdrawal (terugtrekken van aanbod) must happen fast
Art.15: if the withdrawal reaches the offeree before or at the same time as the offer.
(intrekken is mogelijk tot het moment dat het voorstel de wederpartij heft bereikt.)
Wanneer het aanbod de partij al heeft bereikt kan het aanbod niet meer teruggetrokken
worden.

- Rejection terminates the offer (wanneer iemand het aandbod afslaat)
- Er is een period of time mentioned in the offer
- Certain time dus offer in writing / oral offer
Stap 6: Revocation of an offer (een aanbod herroepen als withdrawal niet meer mogelijk is)
Art.16: Any offer is revocable (herroepbaar), unless:
- Offer has been accepted
- Offeree has sent his acceptance
- Offer is irrevocable (onherroepbaar)
