Two Businesses on our Doorstep
Introduction:
In this task, I will be talking about the points of views of different stakeholders that are looking
to influence the aims and objectives of two organizations. The organizations I have chosen for
this assignment are Siphen an IT company and ENOC a government-owned oil and gas
company. Siphen is a private limited company and ENOC is a public limited company.
Both ENOC and Siphen have more or less the same stakeholders, but each of these
stakeholders have different point of views. I won’t be repeating the same information for both
the companies as it is very similar, so I have grouped the stakeholders in both the companies to

Stakeholders of ENOC: Stakeholders of Siphen:
Owners
Employees Customers
Communities Suppliers
Government Investors
Stakeholders of ENOC:
Owners:
Owners are considered the most important stakeholder as they want their profits to increase

The owners of ENOC make the most important decisions like planning, how they would set up
their business, selecting suppliers, managing finances etc. The owners also have to figure out
and set out what their aims and objectives are, and they also have to figure a way to achieve
them. For the owners to have an influence on ENOC they have to create successful business
plans and make profits by the plans they make. The owners are trying to turn the business into
a successful one by influencing their company. The owners run the company and thus have to
maintain a healthy relationship with fellow stakeholders, if they mess up and might get into
trouble for squandering money and resources. The customers can cut all ties with ENOC if the
shares go down. This is the same for the owners of Siphen. By influencing the aims and
objectives of the company, the owners have created an impact on the company which has
