Cruise lines have developed a range of products that support the growing market of cruise holidays,
such as freestyle cruising, fun ships, adult only, children’s clubs, cruise and stay, mini cruises, family
friendly. Over the years these parts of cruising have developed drastically to fit the customers' needs
and wants.
Mini cruises
Mini cruises have developed in the recent years to cater to the needs and wises of the passengers
onboard. Over the last 20 years mini cruises have become popular as people don’t always want long
breaks so they decide they want to go on a 2-7 day holiday instead of the traditional two week cruises.
As well as that people want to go on short beaks to city's they have never seen before, a mini cruise
goes to a range of cities in a short time.
As well the price of a mini I cruise is a lot cheaper than a package holiday or a fly cruise so people who
have a lower income family are more interested on a mini cruise. They often have less facilities than a
normal cruise because they are smaller but still have fabulous shopping areas and restaurants to pleases
the passengers. They have developed over the years to ensure that the cruise experience is just a good
as a big two week cruise just on a smaller scale and the products available meet the needs and
standards on the passengers that are on the ship.
Adult only
Adult only cruise ship has become popular over the years as people have wanted to get away from their
children or don't want to be on holiday with children, most adult only ships are 18+ but you do get ones
that are 12+. Facilities on adult cruise are adapted to what adults want like bars, lounges, spas, casinos,
dining areas, yoga classes, cinemas and theater performances. The adult cruises have developed to
ensure that they are perfect for the rage of people who want them, they will continue to develop for the
needs of the customers to ensure that it’s the best they can be.
On adult cruises you do still stop off around the world like a normal cruise the only difference its it's
exclusively for adults.
